A Southern Look At Art

Margarita Peak-Clewett was drawn back to her long lost love of writing after battleing a disabling illness that left her unable to work and very depressed. She soon found a hidden happiness in poetry. Her husband Jim surprised her Dec. 2005 by having her first poetry book published. "BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS A Collection Of Poems And Praises By Margarita Peak-Clewett" She is now working on her own personal novel and a series of children's short stories. Margarita also enjoys making greeting cards that display her poetry and her photography.

I DREAM

I dream of Rose Petal Valleys

I dream of ever green trees

I dream a world full of happiness and peace

I dream an impossible dream

A world where children are safe and happy

A world rid of bitterness and hate

I dream of a land where we all work together

Despite our religion or race

I dream an impossible dream

I dream.

I dream and then I awake

I listen to the sounds the world makes

I hear the laughter of children at play

I hear the rumbling of men at work

I smell the sent of roses as deep in the valley they wait

I wonder if I am truly awake

Is it possible I am living a dream that is far better than I ever imagined?

Is it possible I forgot how blessed I truly am?

Is it possible that I am truly living the impossible dream?

Or is it just a dream?

Go Away Monsters

Go away Monsters! Go away!
In this home you may not stay.
Go away ghost from nightmare town
Go away! We don't want you around.
Go scare somebody else, Go haunt another house
Go away Boogie man
In this closet you can not stay
This is not your day to play
Go away all things scary, Go away!
Never come back To my little one's room
Or next time I will use more than just my broom!

This was written after my husband and I chased away mosters from Frank's room so he could sleep.

Tears In The Rain

Rain dribbles down the window pane
The trees lift their limbs up toward the sky
As if they give thanks to the one on high.
A rainy day is most often cursed than blessed
Almost like when like gives us a test
I wonder as the rain drops fall, Is it really rain at all?
Could it be the Masters Tears falling to the ground?
A gentle tear for each aching heart A stream of saddeness for each family that falls apart
I wonder if we really knew,
How our heavenly father's heart break grew,
Would we still curse the rain?
Or would we try and erase the pain?

opened in February 2008 and is owned by Elizabeth Edwards. It is fast becoming
well known in the art world for its excellence and content. Interviews from many
